End-of-Life Doulas

Photo close up of a senior hand being comforted by a nurse's handDeath care is changing rapidly and there is demand for change in the way we care for the dying both physically and emotionally. The growing movement that helps fill the critical gap in end-of-life care are End-of-Life Doulas. Doulas play an important role providing non-medical, holistic support and comfort for the dying person and their family, guiding them through unfamiliar territory and making the transition as physically, emotionally, and spiritually peaceful as possible.
